Tobias Lee is a California-based composer and violinist who holds a B.M. in Music Composition from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois where he studied with composers such as Shawn Okpebholo, Xavier Beteta, Misook Kim, and Howard Whitaker and was awarded the Josephine Halvorsen Memorial Composition Prize in April 2024. He has experience composing for a wide variety of mediums, including solo, chamber, and orchestra. As a violinist, he enjoys playing as a chamber musician and has participated in giving premieres of new works.
